10X Superoxalloy Cuts Through Pipe Wrap
This video shows an abrasive blast removing two different pipe wrap systems with 10X 20/40 at ~100PSI. Pipe wrap systems are used to repair pipes where painting is either not possible or not sufficient. The first system shown is a composite wrap system similar to a cast on a broken bone. The second system (the one wrapped in black tape) is a permanently soft adhesive called VISCOTAQ. Both are very difficult to remove, but the VISCOTAQ even more so, given its non-rigid nature. Before trying 10X, the customer had no efficient way to remove this coating system. This video shows how effective 10X superoxalloy abrasives are at removing both wrap systems.
